Hi! My name is Rochelle, and I’m the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Lucky & Me.

It all started with my daughter

When my daughter was little and I first started buying underwear for her, I couldn’t believe how rough the fabric was or how the stitching came undone after a few washes. I went to kids’ clothing stores and big department stores to buy different styles for her, but the underwear never fit her right, always bunching or leaving marks on her sensitive skin. 

Why was it so hard to find comfortable, well-fitting underwear for kids? 

How could my daughter enjoy playing with her friends or focus at school if she was uncomfortable all the time? 

Since my background was in fashion merchandising and product development, I knew things could be better. With 20 years of corporate experience under my belt, I took a leap of faith and started Lucky & Me in 2012 with my husband Kani.

Here is what we believe:

Childhood is precious and fleeting, and we want kids to enjoy just being kids. 

Our mission is to make the world’s most comfortable underwear for kids, so instead of feeling uncomfortable and distracted, they can delight in the simple joys of life.

In the beginning, my daughter was my fit model. I still remember the day she put on a new pair of Lucky & Me underwear and said, “It feels like I’m not wearing anything!” It was the best feedback I could have asked for. Knowing she was comfortable made me so happy.

Time flies, and now my daughter is all grown up. The most fulfilling part of my work is hearing from customers that their children finally found comfort in wearing Lucky & Me. Knowing we’ve made a difference for kids in this precious time of life is what inspires me and Kani every day.
