Very soft stretchy socks in nice color combinations. Purchased two sets in small and medium for my five year old and eight year old, and they fit very well. My daughter recently (in December) decided she would't wear socks anymore because they are itchy and generally uncomfortable. These, she can pull up over her calves which she greatly prefers to ankle socks. They have stayed soft after a few washes, and don't have bulky toe seams or any other (as yet known) reasons to be abandoned.
