Okay, fashionistas, we are sure you have purchased one type of Chevron pattern this season! It is everywhere. And we love it too. In fact, we are playing around with designs for the fall collection.
I feel obligated to give you a bit of history and facts about the Chevron pattern:
Chevron print consists of inverted “V” shapes. This particular shape has been found in many forms of ancient art, such as pottery and stone carvings. In history, the chevron figure is usually associated with the emblems and symbols used in military or police uniforms.
This pattern has an especially retro vibe, and was especially popular in the ’70s.
Kids love counting the Vs. And it makes for an interesting dinner conversation.
